I graduated on Saturday! My mom, brother, grandmom, and grandad all came out to the windy city to see it. The whole family--at least that's what we told people. I was unpleasantly surprised, however, to find no diploma in my diploma holder. Apparently, I don't officially graduate until they make sure I didn't fail anything this semester. So, we'll see.
This week I am back at Grace Community Christian School subbing for the class I student taught in. I am doing just about as much work as I was during student teaching, and I'm actually getting paid now. Albeit I'm still doing the work of a teacher and getting paid even less than they do, but I suppose this is still better than before.
I still do not have a job for next year. I am waiting to hear from the public school. I may teach either fifth grade or eighth grade LA next year, but I guess I might not find out until June.

Congrats on graduating. Well, almost graduating. We were secretly there on the back row, supporting you. Well, in spirit anyway. Good luck in finding a great teaching position.
